Students will develop an awareness of the beauty and vulnerability of this planet as they create art projects using recycled materials. Young eco-artists will transform the lifeless into the living; grey egg cartons become roses and old magazines endangered animals! The class will reflect on current environmental topics, while exploring ways to go green and help sustain our Mother Earth! Instructor will provide the majority of the supplies but students are welcome to bring additional recycled materials, including: egg cartons, toilet rolls, old magazines and newspaper, plastic bottles and tin cans.
