Painting with Oil and Cold WaxInstructor: Kathy Blankley Roman
We will explore tools & techniques of combining cold wax medium with oil paint, to produce nonobjective abstract paintings and/or abstract landscapes in an atmosphere of play. Using nontraditional tools, we will create paintings with depth, translucency and a richness of surface. This is an intermediate class. Basic knowledge of general design principles, composition, color principles, etc. is advised.
