Image Transfers in Acrylic & Mixed Media - Jan. 25th

About this event

Image Transfer in Acrylic & Mixed Media
Instructor: Jackie Lakely

There are many ways to incorporate image transfer into your art making process, and in this workshop we will cover the non-toxic methods using different tapes, liquid and gel mediums, acrylic paint, rice paper, and contact paper. Jackie will demonstrate the processes of each and you will spend time experimenting with applying these methods in various sizes to various surfaces, including paper, boards, and canvas.

The instructor will provide a host of imagery to choose from but participants are encouraged to bring their own photocopied old photos, drawings, printed papers, magazines and newspapers. There is a supply list for participants, and the instructor will provide each participant with a 12” x 12” board and most of the transfer supplies.
