Let's play! In this class we will enrich and focus children’s natural gift for dramatic and imaginative play using improvisation, theater games, and storytelling. We will create an original performance, design and make simple costumes and set decorations. Then, rather than asking young actors to memorize a script, we will (even in the final presentation) encourage them to retell the story using improvisation and their own words so they can be comfortable and “play” together on stage for an audience.

Classes are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached. OPAL School and instructors determine this minimum enrollment number. These cancellations may be made up to three days prior to the first day of the class. Students will be notified of the cancellation by email or by telephone. Full tuition will be refunded by mailed check within two weeks of cancellation notification. Students may opt to receive credit for a future class session in lieu of a refund.
