A Journey to Thailand

Journey with us to Thailand as we recreate traditional Thai mask dances. Create masks, outfits, and characters along with props and scenic designs out of found materials. Study Thai patterns & flowers, and learn to draw naga (serpent like creatures) and of course elephants! |

No Computer Needed: The Art of 2-D Design
Instructor: Hannah Mathis
This camp introduces students to the basics of graphic design, while encouraging hands-on investigation. Campers will be introduced to color theory, typography, and lay out, while also being encouraged to develop their own sense of style. Design music and movie posters, food packaging and mood boards. |

An Outer Space Adventure with the Artist Playhouse
Instructor: Rhona Taylor
Lift off in this exciting visual & performance art workshop. Create and original performance, design and make simple costumes and set decorations. Then retell the story using improvisation and the actors own works so that everyone can be comfortable and 'ply' together on stage for an audience.
