This ½ day workshop is geared toward the working artist needing accurate photographs of their work, both for portfolios and for submission to exhibits, galleries or contests. You will learn some of the basic functions of digital cameras, lighting principles and techniques for both flat artworks and 3-dimensional sculptures. Some basic image processing (straightening, cropping, color and tonal adjustment, precise image sizing for submission compliance (ppi, pixels per inch), using both Adobe Photoshop™ and GIMP™ freeware will also be covered.
