Whether you have never written a statement or you have had a long career as a professional artist, the prospect of having to submit a Statement, A Bio and a C.V. can be daunting. This workshop is designed to get rid of all that trepidation.We will create a solid working definition for each term and then, after breaking into small groups, discuss how to use the formats to more effectively reach your goals. Please bring in whatever you have as a starting point. The process of articulating your intentions and experiences in a group with a clear outline will help you to better understand your own practice and to get more clarity about the audience for your work As you continue to evolve as an artist, Your Statement, Bio and C..V. need to be revisited. The goal of the workshop is to leave with something that best captures the artist you are right now.
