Farmer's Market Watercolor: Loose & Bright Techniques

Sketch and paint gestural, loose, bright watercolors of the bounty of the Oak Park Farmer's Market! Students will study and paint fruits, vegetables and flowers, starting with gestural drawings and moving into longer form still life paintings, all the while making the most of this vibrant, lush medium. Students will be introduced to key ideas around creating a successful watercolor painting - color, composition, edges, techniques in achieving looseness and detail, and the importance of finding your own artistic voices.

Classes are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached. OPAL School and instructors determine this minimum enrollment number. These cancellations may be made up to three days prior to the first day of the class. Students will be notified of the cancellation by email or by telephone. Full tuition will be refunded by mailed check within two weeks of cancellation notification. Students may opt to receive credit for a future class session in lieu of a refund.
